Designated accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Equestrian Center (EQC) paved lot — North of the CSU Spur Vida building. A valid state issued handicapped placard or license plate is required. Early arrival is recommended to ensure adequate parking and accommodation.
We’re making getting around the Center easier with dedicated shuttles and mobile transport services. Please call 720-389-2538 or email GuestRelations@nationalwesterncenter.com beforehand if you’d like to arrange transport during your visit.
Wheelchair Access: Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at your event’s designated box office or registration desk.
If you are an event planner and need to rent wheelchairs for your event, 14 days’ advance notice is required to make sure we can accommodate each request. Please call 720-389-2538 or email GuestRelations@nationalwesterncenter.com to request a rental.
All public signage (excluding digital signage) incorporates raised lettering and braille.
The Center has a designated accessible drop-off/pickup location at the Main Plaza Pedestrian Entry at the intersection of Bettie Cram Drive & National Western Drive South. Automatic entry doors are available across all campus buildings. Please refer to our campus accessibility map for ramped-curb locations.
Elevators are available across all campus buildings. The Livestock Center CoBank Arena has an escalator available near the main entrance. Please refer to our campus accessibility map for specific elevator and escalator locations.
In the event of an outage or maintenance interruptions to elevators/escalators, information will be posted to the National Western Center’s website.
All meeting and event spaces across campus are wheelchair accessible. Please refer to our campus accessibility map for details. You may also request accessible seating and companion seating during the purchase of your event ticket(s).
All first aid stations, restrooms, drinking fountains, and retail spaces are wheelchair accessible. We also offer family and companion care restrooms, sensory rooms, and nursing rooms for guests.
Trained service animals are welcome at the National Western Center per ADA guidelines.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALD) are available upon request free-of-charge near ticket office(s) at venue/event entrances. A valid state or federal identification (i.e., driver’s license or passport) is required as a deposit to ensure return of the ALD. Please visit your event space box office for assistance.
Upon request, the Center can provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for guests who are hearing impaired. 14 days’ advance notice is needed to make sure we can accommodate each request. Please email GuestRelations@nationalwesterncenter.com to request ASL interpretation during your visit.
