In 2024, the National Western Center will feature more than 2.2 million sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor spaces including state-of-the-art facilities, historic buildings and riverfront open space. In addition to hosting the annual National Western Stock Show, Rodeo All-Star Weekend and the Denver County Fair, the campus will be home to three Colorado State University buildings with research and educational programs focused on water, sustainability, food, and human and animal health. History Colorado and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will also bring educational programs to the campus.

When complete, spaces throughout the campus can host:

The 250-acre future National Western Center boasts a prime location just two miles from Downtown Denver. National Western Center venues will be visible from I-70 and easily accessible from both I-70 and I-25. RTD’s National Western transit station is only one stop away from Denver Union Station. Denver International Airport (DEN) is a quick 20-minute trip by train or by car. The future National Western Center campus will also be accessible via the South Platte River Trail – only a 20 minute bike ride from downtown.

CLOSED: Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

The National Western Center Authority is seeking a development partner to competitively bid on an upcoming City and County of Denver RFP for the purchase of the Livestock Exchange Building property, located at 4701 Marion St. Denver, CO 80216. The deadline for the National Western Center Authority RFQ closed on Friday, July 12, 2019. The Authority is currently reviewing statements of qualifications.
