The Legacy Building will be a multi-use building facility consisting of approximately 115,000 GSF in a 4-story structure built immediately adjacent to, and integrated with, the new NWC Livestock Center (being built by the City and County of Denver).

Legacy Building Program Description

The design of the building reflects the long-standing western heritage of the Stock Show and provides a distinctive new home for the Western Stock Show Association (WSSA). The building will include a state-of-the-art workplace environment and support unique programming reflective of the educational, arts, heritage, and hospitality functions critical to the mission and values of the Association. A robust palette of natural and recycled materials will provide continuity with the legacy of the Stock Show and a sense of connection to the architectural language of the rural west. A carefully articulated and expressive building form will establish a dynamic civic gateway onto the NWC Campus and celebrate the vital role of the Association and the Stock Show into the future.

The Legacy Building will house a variety of spaces and uses as described below. The Capital Campaign is actively and continuously fundraising, and the working titles of many of the spaces below will eventually be updated as a part of the donor recognition program.
