Meeting is first in series planned through summer 2020 to gather input on the Triangle project draft RFP
DENVER – The City and County of Denver’s Performance Based Infrastructure Office (PBI) will host a community meeting on January 25, 2020 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Swansea Recreation Center to talk with the community about the Triangle at National Western Center (NWC) and to gather feedback on key elements of the draft request for proposals (RFP). The draft RFP lays the foundation for building a final RFP and will go through as many as four rounds of drafts before the final version is reissued in Fall 2020. Releasing the drafts publicly allows the City to engage with the community and City Council and incorporate their input into the final RFP.

WHERE: Swansea Recreation Center, 2650 E. 49th Ave., Denver, CO 80216
At the community meeting, the PBI Office will provide an overview of the project and the RFP process, discuss the elements included in the RFP and gather community feedback on how to implement adopted plans through zoning changes and introduce other items included in the equity package. The Jan. 25 meeting is the first in a series of meetings and input sessions, which will occur into late summer 2020. In addition to hosting its own meetings, Triangle project staff are already attending existing community meetings to communicate with and gather feedback from the community.
