The National Western Center Authority, with support from the City and County of Denver, selected Community Activation Partners (led by Fengate Capital Management, Ltd.) and SPARK Partners (led by Saunders Construction, Inc.) to move forward as stage two proposers for the Equestrian Center, Hotel, and Parking Garage project.
Stage 2 proposals are due February 20, 2024.
KEY PROJECT GOALS ARE:
Support the mission and vision of the Authority and NWC Campus to deliver a vibrant campus;
Create opportunities for community participation and engagement;
Activate the NWC Campus in coordination with existing events and operations;
Develop the Project in a financially sustainable manner with capped risk exposure to the City and the potential to generate excess revenues to support campus and community initiatives; and
Incorporate innovative approaches to design, development, operations and financing to enhance Project outcomes
