Livestock Center Groundbreaking Ceremony

On December 14, 2022, Mayor Michael B. Hancock, the National Western Center Authority and its partners broke ground on the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center at the new National Western Center. The over 350,000 sq. ft. Center will be the largest and most versatile building on campus, hosting year-round events like community events, concerts, exhibitions, sporting events, trade shows, banquets and more. The Livestock Center will also host the annual Stock Show’s livestock-related events.

Construction on the new facility is expected to begin in February 2023, following Stock Show activities. The Livestock Center will connect to the adjacent Legacy Building, the new headquarters of the National Western Stock Show.
