The Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center (NWCO) Field Office and Hensel Phelps’ (HP) Temporary Field Office is one of several projects within the National Western Center (NWC) Horizontal Integrated Contractor (HIC) program. This project will build a new field office for the NWCO capital build team and HP construction staff. As the HIC, HP will oversee Halcyon Construction, the prime subcontractor for both office remodel projects.
Construction is scheduled to begin January 2019 with substantial completion anticipated in April 2019. Work includes select building demolition, drywall, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, concrete masonry, fire protection, painting, acoustic ceiling, flooring, doors, frames, hardware, millwork, signage, site concrete, asphalt roto-mill, striping and furniture. This work is being done in existing buildings. No major impacts or detours of Race Court are currently anticipated as part of this project.
