Closure Update – National Western Drive
Update 6.6.20: Utility trench work is scheduled to begin June 6th in the roadway. No thru access
National Western Drive (also known as Packing House Road) is closed between Race Court and North Marion Street. Construction traffic only. Please see map for route and detour information. Slow speeds advised. Please obey signage and flaggers. All construction activities are weather dependent.

A new National Western Drive will be relocated approximately 200 yards west of the current location, adjacent to the future riverfront space along the South Platte River. This new alignment is expected to open in 2022 and will be a wider, multimodal roadway with protected bike lanes, sidewalks, and pedestrian features.
