Not Your Average Venue: Find Your Fit at the National Western Center

Denver has plenty of ballrooms and hotel conference rooms. The National Western Center isn’t one of them.

Our 250-acre campus blends a Rocky Mountain skyline, historic character dating back to 1898, and open riverfront space along the South Platte — all just minutes from downtown Denver. As an all-in-one destination, there’s a space here built for whatever you’re planning — from a 20-person board meeting to a festival for thousands.

Which Venue Matches Your Event?

From intimate meetings to large-scale productions, the National Western Center offers a variety of venues that can be customized for your event. Every space on campus has its own personality. Here’s a quick way to find yours:

  • The Networker — Stockyards Event Center. A LEED Gold, 46,000-square-foot space with our historic Water Tower in the background and an outdoor beer garden — polished enough for a keynote, flexible enough for a company retreat.
  • The Show-Stopper — Livestock Center. Our newest and largest venue, built for the big moments: concerts, expos, and large-scale trade shows.
  • The Headliner — CoBank Arena. The 146,000-square-foot arena at the heart of the Livestock Center, seating up to 5,000 — where the marquee concerts, sporting events, and can’t-miss shows happen.
  • The Free Spirit — The Yards & Riverfront. The South Platte riverfront space and The Yards for festivals, outdoor celebrations, and anything that needs room to breathe.

Not sure which one fits? That’s exactly what our events team is here for. Submit an inquiry to learn more about any of our venues!

FUN FACT: Our campus is rooted in history and holds landmarks on site that date to as early as 1898. Your event is surrounded by Denver’s history.
